Longboard Races - Jan, Feb, Mar

Longboard Races - Jan, Feb, Mar

Weather permitting, the Longboard Revival Series occurs the 3rd Sunday of January, February and March each year at the Historic Johnsville Ski Bowl in Johnsville. This annual series recreates the racing atmosphere from back in the "good old days" right down to the period clothing and authentic skis. Racing starts at noon. The race is truly something to experience, and promises to be a fun family event held at the ski area at Plumas Eureka State Park located in Johnsville. Food will be available to purchase, or bring your own picnic lunch. Make it a day of family fun with the groomed sledding hill and great snowshoeing or telemark skiing. There isn`t always sufficient snow to hold all three events each year so check the Ski Club`s website for the latest schedule information.
